Davenport, Fla. (December 13, 2016) — ABD Development Company is announcing its end of the year results and 2016 is shaping up to be a banner year for the Central Florida headquartered developer. Accolades have included three awards for Providence Golf and Country Club Community at the Orlando Parade of Homes and the Award of Excellence for the Wyndham model at Toscana Palm Coast at the Flagler Parade of Homes.
The Federal Reserve is poised to raise interest rates soon and ABD Development has met this pending change in the market with an abundance of high quality luxury homes for sale in Florida. Kiplinger predicts that by the end of 2017: “Expect the average 30-year fixed rate mortgage to edge up to 4.3%, with 15-year fixed rates at 3.6%.” The time has never been better to invest in property within gated communities in the Sunshine State and purchasing a new home has proven to almost always have better value than pre-owned.
The positive news regarding the Providence golf lover’s gated community, just southwest of Orlando, includes confirmation to build a highly upgraded, custom Courtyard model home in Heritage Green to be completed in 2017. But buyers do not need to wait until then: completed spec homes are available now in Heritage Green and the Sherbrook Springs golf cottage neighborhood. New spec homes are also in the process of being built, allowing buyers to pick custom finishes for their dream home in either neighborhood.
“2016 saw record sales in Providence for ABD and in 2017 we plan to start at least 20 more spec homes in Providence,” affirmed Yuval Botansky, President of ABD Development. “We also have the second, guard-gated entrance to Providence under construction now, which will provide direct access to Kinney Harmon Road and Poinciana Parkway. Our commercial parcel on the corner of Kinney Harmon and Route 17/92 is nearing approval and will start construction in 2017. And residents are happy to note that the new dog park in Providence is open as well!”
ABD’s Windsor Landing at Wyndham Lakes Estates Orlando has six new Sorrento spec homes with upcoming completion dates. Never to be labeled “cookie cutter” homes, each luxury house features various configurations of the Sorrento’s ideal floor plan of four or three bedrooms. One of these in-demand specs has been sold and another will be finishing construction in 90 days. ABD has one lot left in Windsor Landing (Lot 50) that has not been selected for a particular home, making it possible for a buyer to choose from the seven models available and customize to their heart’s content.
The Toscana gated community in Palm Coast, five miles from the pristine shores of Flagler Beach, announced five new home sales in the last two months of 2016, of which all were custom builds on buyer selected lots. Two specs will be completed this month for immediate occupancy, while two more spec homes will break ground within a few weeks. Investors in this Mediterranean style community are looking forward to a new model starting construction in January, in preparation for a summer 2017 grand opening.
