ORLANDO, Fla. (May 30, 2013) — ABD Development Company and Lennar Homes are announcing a major land deal within the award-winning community of Providence, located in Polk County, Fla. With this recent acquisition, Lennar, Orlando’s number one homebuilder, will debut more than 260 additional home sites within the luxury gated golf community through 2016, including the subdivisions of Lakeside Villas, Grantham Springs, and Victoria Woods. Lennar has built its homes in the Cortland Woods subdivision within Providence for several years.

With this recent acquisition, Lennar, Orlando’s number one homebuilder, will debut more than 260 additional home sites within the luxury gated golf community through 2016, including the subdivisions of Lakeside Villas, Grantham Springs, and Victoria Woods. Lennar has built its homes in the Cortland Woods subdivision within Providence for several years.

Located approximately 25 miles southwest of downtown Orlando, Providence was developed in 2005 and currently features 700 occupied homes. The showpiece of Providence is the 18-hole Michael Dasher-designed golf course, clubhouse with pro shop and restaurant, fitness and aquatic center with two pools, and lighted tennis courts.
